THE STORY OF THE ORPHAN TRAIN

Come learn The Story of the Orphan Train, as told in theatrical performance by Pippa White, on Monday, September 29 at 7 pm.  More than 250,000 homeless children were saved from the streets of large eastern cities and sent, via a train, to live on farms or in communities in the Midwest. Pippa will portray the joy and some of the sorrows of these young people.  The program has been very highly recommended by previous attendees.

The Orphan Train program is being sponsored by the FOL and they will be holding their annual meeting at 6:30 tonight, just before the program.  Both are open to the public.
