ILLUSTRATED A BOOK WINNERS

The Brookings Public Library is pleased to announce the winners of our eleventh annual Illustrate-a-Book Contest.  During this contest, held in honor of National Library Week, April 12-18, young artists were invited to create an original illustration of a book of their choice.  Two hundred, sixty-three entries were received. The winners are:

Category 1 – Kindergarten to 2nd Grades

1st Place - Carson Loehr

2nd Place - Anika Hooda

3rd Place - Broden Teske

Honorable Mentions - Faith Johnson, Benjamin Krueger, Alieda Spilde, Logan Hanson,

Category 2 – 3rd to 5th Grades
