Danielle Sosin, author of The Long-shining Waters, will speak at the Library on Wednesday, July 24 at 7 pm.  The book was chosen as the South Dakota Humanities Council’s 2013 One Book South Dakota selection.

Sosin’s book follows three women through the changing seasons of a pivotal year in their lives. Their lives are separated by centuries but linked by their common experience of living on the shores of Lake Superior.

This program is made possible through a grant from the South Dakota Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
